Evening Worship

Evening prayer to allow us use this part of the day to listen to God.

All Age Worship

This worship is in the Parish Hall. It is informal, fun and there is even Coffee and Tea. We are looking at Smooth ans straight  for as much as we want our lives to be smooth and straight, it is only God who can see us that way.   Ironing Boards for the men, lots of tinfoil for everyone else.

Easter Vestry

This is an Annual meeting that has both a spiritual and business like purpose. The Meeting is really an opportunity to review the past year, giving thanks to God for his blessing and provision and encouraging each other as Christians as we look to the year ahead.
I give a report, as will Andrew and Wilma Cathcart will present the Accounts for the Year. The Select Vestry will be elected and you can only vote or be on the Vestry if you are on the Vestryman List.  I encourage people to ask Any Other Business Questions but insist that such Questions are given to me at least 24 Hours ahead of the Meeting. It allows me time to prepare appropriate answers to the best of my ability ensuring ( I hope) that people are satisfied with such answers.  I want to encourage as many to come to this Meeting. It is very supportive to me personally and is so good that so many people care for the Parish and it’s purpose in God’s Kingdom. I will use this Year’s Meeting to outline the “Vision Building” I want to ask the Parish to engage in. It is very important that we all take time to reflect on where the Parish is at present and how we can allow God to continue in building and growing his Kingdom through us in Saintfield Parish.  To grow Christ outward and grow Christ deep are two directions I will be sharing as a basis of this vision building.
